Peter Kingsbury

Peter Kingsbury has over 26 years experience in the management of large-scale corporate and financial, consumer marketing and public education programs in Europe and Asia-Pacific and has counseled a wide variety of private and public sector clients in both regions. Prior to co-founding Kingsbury-Adams, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Burson-Marsteller Asia-Pacific, the leading perception management company in the region, during which time he was responsible for the company's operations in sixteen markets.

Peter previously served as executive vice-president and managing director for Burson-Marsteller operations in Australia. In this role, he managed the company's day-to-day operations in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide, as well as the company's affiliate relationships in other major cities of Australia and New Zealand. He also served as senior counselor for major multinational clients operating in Australia.

Peter joined Burson-Marsteller in 1983 and became managing director of the Singapore office in 1985. He transferred to Dentsu Burson-Marsteller in Tokyo as managing director in early 1989, and to Burson-Marsteller Australia as managing director in mid-1991. He was a member of Burson-Marsteller's Worldwide Operating Committee.

In recent years, he has been responsible for the development, planning and implementation of many public relations programs for a broad range of multinational clients including American Express, Andersen Consulting, Citibank, Campbell Soup Company, Alfred Dunhill, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive and British Airways.

Peter has also counseled numerous public sector organizations and government agencies in the Asia-Pacific region on communications matters, and has worked with a wide variety of private sector clients in Japan, Australia, ASEAN and North Asian markets. His earlier public relations career included over 10 years in the European motor industry in various public relations positions.
